Frequently Asked Questions

  • When and where should I RSVP?

Please RSVP using the RSVP page by July 1, 2026 to ensure you will have a seat at the ceremony and reception. This is a hard RSVP deadline so that we may provide all final head counts to the vendors! Additionally, it is difficult to find housing on the island and your accommodations should be booked earlier than seems normal.

  • Where should I stay and when should I book my accommodations?

Please see the “Travel & Stay” page for recommendations & book your accommodations as early as possible. The island can be difficult and expensive to find housing, so it would be best to start looking earlier than seems necessary!

  • When do I need to be at the venue?

Saturday, September 5th, 2026. Please find your seats by 3:45pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

  • What do I do if I’m late for the ceremony?

Please quietly find a seat to join us for our wedding ceremony!

  • How's parking?

There will be self-parking available at the lower end of our extended backyard. Overnight parking is welcome, as we hope all our guests will stay safe!

  • Are kids welcome?

Please note that this will be an adults-only ceremony and reception. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Can I bring a date?

Our wedding will be an intimate event to enjoy with our loved ones, friends and family alike! The names specifically written on your invitation are those who are invited. We thank you for your understanding as we could not extend plus-ones to all.

  • Can we take photos on a phone or camera?

Please live in the moment and be tasteful with your phone camera use. Remember that the ceremony is a time to be present and there will be a professional photographer. We encourage film photography throughout the wedding!

  • What will the weather be like?

The ceremony and reception will be in our backyard in the (hopefully) sun. The reception will be held under a tent. September on island is typically warm, with the temperature cooling off in the evening.

  • What is the attire?

Black Tie Optional! This typically means men in suits and women in floor length dresses or jumpsuits. We want you to be comfortable and embrace your personal style. Ladies, please leave white to the Bride and wear shoes that you will be comfortable navigating grass areas in as well as dancing. Please feel free to go barefoot in the grass as well!

  • Is ceremony seating random?

Yes! The first two rows will be reserved for immediate family, all other seats and rows are first come first serve.

  • Do I have to dance?

YES! This is wedding priority #1 (minus getting hitched). There will be a band and you better boogie or don’t show up.

  • What is the booze situation?

There will be wine, beer, and cocktails served at an open bar as dancing fuel! Please find safe travel accommodations for the night.

  • How long did it take Nevin to propose?

10 years! Double digits! I bet Nevin won’t even see this roast but it had to be done. We will be celebrating a decade together at midnight!

  • I have a question that wasn’t answered, how can I contact you?

Please see the email form below to contact Livy or feel free to reach out via phone!
